Where peptide serum fits, what to use with it and how to keep your routine simple.
Choosing a good skincare product is only the first step. Knowing where it belongs in your routine—and what you can safely use alongside it—is just as important.
Peptide serums are generally easy to incorporate because they are designed to provide gradual, ongoing support rather than aggressive exfoliation or resurfacing.
Our Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum is a lightweight, fragrance-free treatment that can be used in the morning, evening or both. It layers comfortably with many popular skincare ingredients, including Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Squalane.
Here is how to make it work in your routine.
What Does a Peptide Serum Do?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids used in skincare to help support processes associated with healthy-looking skin.
Depending on the particular peptide technology, a peptide serum may help support:
- Firmer-looking skin
- Improved-looking elasticity
- Smoother skin texture
- The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Healthy-looking skin renewal
- A stronger, more resilient complexion
The Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum combines:
- Reneseed™ at 2% to support skin renewal, firmness, hydration, radiance and vitality
- Copper Tripeptide-1 at 0.005% to support smoother, firmer and more resilient-looking skin
- Malachite Extract for complementary antioxidant support
- Glycerin and Pentylene Glycol to help attract and retain moisture
Because Re-Gen is water-based and lightweight, it should be applied before heavier creams and oils.
When Should You Apply Peptide Serum?
Re-Gen can be applied:
- In the morning
- In the evening
- Both morning and evening
Using it twice a day is not compulsory. The best schedule is the one you can follow consistently.
If your routine already contains several serums or active ingredients, using Re-Gen once a day may be the simplest place to begin.
The Correct Order for Applying Re-Gen
A general skincare order is:
- Cleanser
- Toner, if you use one
- Lightweight water-based serums
- Moisturiser
- Facial oil, if needed
- Sunscreen during the day
Re-Gen belongs in the serum step, after cleansing and toning but before moisturiser, facial oil and sunscreen.
Apply a few drops to the face, neck and décolletage. Gently smooth or press the serum into the skin and allow it to absorb before moving to the next step.
You do not need to wait for a specific number of minutes. Once the serum has mostly absorbed and the skin no longer feels very wet, you can continue with your routine.
A Simple Morning Peptide Routine
For a straightforward morning routine:
- Cleanse
- Apply Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
- Apply moisturiser
- Finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen
This is a good option for someone who wants targeted age-support without layering several serums.
Sunscreen remains the most important final step in a daytime routine. Peptides and antioxidants can support the skin, but they do not replace tested UV protection.
A Simple Evening Peptide Routine
For an uncomplicated evening routine:
- Cleanse
- Tone, if desired
- Apply Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
- Apply moisturiser
- Finish with facial oil or Squalane, if needed
The evening is an excellent time to use Re-Gen because it can remain on the skin as part of your overnight routine without needing to layer beneath sunscreen or makeup.
Can You Use Peptide Serum With Vitamin C?
Yes. You can use the Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum and Glow Getter Vitamin C Serum in the same overall skincare routine.
The simplest approach is:
Morning: Glow Getter Vitamin C Serum
Evening: Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
This allows you to benefit from both products while keeping each routine short.
Vitamin C provides antioxidant and brightening support during the day, while Re-Gen provides peptide-based renewal and age-support in the evening.
They may also be layered in the same routine if your skin tolerates both comfortably.
How to Layer Vitamin C and Peptides Together
If you want to use Glow Getter and Re-Gen together in the morning:
- Cleanse
- Tone, if desired
- Apply Glow Getter Vitamin C Serum
- Allow it to absorb briefly
- Apply Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
- Apply moisturiser
- Finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen
Both products are lightweight and water-based. If one feels noticeably thinner than the other on your skin, apply the thinner serum first.
There is no need to worry if you occasionally reverse their order. Consistent application is more important than creating a complicated layering rule between two similarly textured serums.
If layering causes pilling, stickiness or discomfort, use Vitamin C in the morning and Re-Gen in the evening instead.
Can You Use Peptides With Hyaluronic Acid?
Yes. Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid work very well within the same routine.
Hyaluronic Acid focuses primarily on hydration, while peptides support firmness, smoothness and healthy-looking renewal.
A suitable order is:
- Cleanse
- Apply Hydra Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum
- Apply Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
- Apply moisturiser
- Apply sunscreen during the day
If your skin does not need two separate water-based serums at every application, you can alternate them:
Morning: Hydra Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Evening: Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
There is no benefit in forcing multiple layers onto your skin if a simpler routine feels better.
Can You Use Peptides With Niacinamide?
Yes. Niacinamide and peptides can be used together.
Niacinamide helps support the skin barrier, hydration, an even-looking complexion and the appearance of pores. Peptides provide complementary support for firmness, resilience and visible signs of ageing.
You may layer the Illuminating Niacinamide Serum and Re-Gen, or use them at different times of day.
For example:
Morning: Illuminating Niacinamide Serum
Evening: Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
This is particularly useful if you want to address both uneven-looking tone and visible signs of ageing without applying too many products at once.
Can You Use Peptides With Squalane or a Facial Oil?
Yes. A peptide serum and a facial oil or Squalane can work well together in the same routine.
Apply Re-Gen after cleansing and before your facial oil. Serums are water-based and should be applied before richer, oil-based products so they can absorb properly.
A simple evening routine with both:
- Cleanse
- Apply Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum
- Allow it to absorb
- Apply Squalane or facial oil
- No further steps are needed at night
Squalane is lightweight and non-comedogenic. It can help seal in moisture and leave skin feeling comfortable and supple overnight.
A Note on Layering Too Many Products
Peptide serums are designed for consistent daily use, not for complicated layering rituals.
If your routine already contains multiple serums, adding Re-Gen does not need to make it longer. Consider replacing a serum that is not giving results, or using Re-Gen on alternate evenings if you prefer to rotate active products.
The best skincare routine is the one you follow consistently. A simple routine used daily will outperform a complicated one used irregularly.
How Long Before You See Results?
Peptide skincare requires patience and consistency.
Hydration and a more comfortable skin feel may be noticeable relatively quickly. Changes in the appearance of firmness, texture and fine lines generally require longer, consistent use.
Allow approximately four to eight weeks before assessing results. Photographs taken in similar lighting conditions can help you track gradual changes more reliably.
The supplier evaluation associated with the Reneseed™ technology used in Re-Gen included an assessment period of 28 days, but individual experiences can differ.
