Re-Gen combines Reneseed™ technology with Copper Tripeptide-1 rather than treating all peptides as though they were identical.
The two ingredients are distinct and must not be combined into one peptide percentage.
Reneseed™ technology is used at 2% in the formula.
Copper Tripeptide-1 is used at 0.005%.
The 2% figure refers to the complete Reneseed™ technology as supplied and used in the formulation. It does not mean that Re-Gen contains 2% pure peptide.
Reneseed™: Plant-Produced Biomimetic Peptide Technology
Reneseed™ is an innovative cosmetic active produced using the Nicotiana benthamiana plant as a biofactory. Read more in Inside the Ingredient #10 – Reneseed™ Peptide.
The plant is used in a controlled production process to produce the biomimetic peptide technology. This does not make Reneseed™ a tobacco extract, and the ingredient should not be described as tobacco being applied to the skin.

Reneseed™ was selected to support skin vitality and the appearance of smoothness, firmness and elasticity.
Supplier information describes retinoid-like activity in relation to Collagen I. This does not mean that Reneseed™ is retinol, contains retinol or should be presented as a direct replacement for a prescription retinoid.
The ingredient allows Re-Gen to offer sophisticated age-support care in a gentle, fragrance-free serum.
Copper Tripeptide-1: A Well-Established Cosmetic Peptide
Copper Tripeptide-1 is a small copper-binding peptide widely recognised in cosmetic skincare. Read more in Inside the Ingredient #9 – Copper Tripeptide-1.
It is included in formulations designed to support the appearance of skin renewal, firmness and resilience.
In Re-Gen, Copper Tripeptide-1 is used at 0.005%.
Although that percentage may appear small beside the 2% Reneseed™ figure, ingredient percentages cannot be compared without considering the nature of the raw material and its recommended use level.
A higher number does not automatically mean a more effective ingredient.
Copper Tripeptide-1 also should not be confused with Malachite Extract. They are separate ingredients with different roles in the formula.
Malachite Extract: Antioxidant Support

In cosmetic formulations, Malachite Extract is valued for antioxidant support. Antioxidants help care for skin exposed to environmental stress caused by factors such as pollution and everyday oxidative processes.
Malachite Extract was included to complement the peptide-focused formula and support the skin’s overall appearance.
It is not the same ingredient as Copper Tripeptide-1, even though both are associated with copper.
Glycerin and Pentylene Glycol: Supporting Hydration
An effective age-support serum should also consider hydration.
Dehydrated skin can look duller, feel less comfortable and make fine lines appear more noticeable.
Glycerin and Pentylene Glycol act as humectants. Humectants help attract and retain moisture, contributing to a hydrated and supple skin feel.
They also help give Re-Gen its light, comfortable texture, allowing it to layer easily beneath a moisturiser, facial oil or sunscreen.
What Else Is in the Formula?
Every ingredient in Re-Gen contributes to the finished serum’s performance, texture, stability or protection.

Water forms the base of this lightweight serum and provides the medium in which the water-compatible ingredients are incorporated.
Levulinic Acid, Sodium Levulinate and Sodium Anisate
These ingredients form part of the formula’s preservation and pH-support system, helping protect the integrity of the water-based product.
Xanthan Gum and Hydroxyethylcellulose
These ingredients help control the serum’s viscosity, stability and skin feel.
They allow the formulation to remain lightweight while giving it enough structure for controlled application.
Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer
This multifunctional formulation ingredient assists with the stability and even distribution of components within the serum.
Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate
This is a chelating ingredient. It helps bind metal ions that could otherwise affect the formula’s stability and performance over time.
Why Is Re-Gen Fragrance-Free?
Fragrance is not necessary for the serum to perform its intended cosmetic role.
By leaving added fragrance out of the formulation, Re-Gen remains focused on its peptide, antioxidant and hydration-support ingredients.
A fragrance-free formula may also be preferable for people whose skin does not tolerate fragranced facial products comfortably.
Fragrance-free does not mean that a product will have absolutely no natural raw-material aroma. It means that fragrance has not been added simply to perfume the product.
What Does the Serum Feel Like?
Re-Gen has a lightweight, water-based texture designed to absorb easily without leaving a heavy or oily finish.
This makes it suitable for layering into an existing routine and for use beneath moisturiser and sunscreen.
Because only a small amount is needed, applying more product will not necessarily improve results. A light, even layer is sufficient.

Can Re-Gen Be Used With Vitamin C?

For the simplest routine, use Glow Getter Vitamin C Serum in the morning and Re-Gen Peptide Power Serum in the evening.
They may also be layered if your skin tolerates both formulas comfortably. Apply the lighter serum first and allow it to absorb before applying the next product.
Vitamin C provides antioxidant and brightening support, while Re-Gen supports smoother, firmer-looking and more resilient skin.
Can Re-Gen Be Used With Retinol?

Retinoids can be intensive for some skin types. Re-Gen should not be described as retinol, and Reneseed™ should not be presented as a direct replacement for prescription retinoids.

Allow approximately four to eight weeks of consistent use before assessing the formula.

Is Malachite Extract the same as a copper peptide?
No. Malachite Extract and Copper Tripeptide-1 are separate ingredients with different functions in the formulation.
Does Re-Gen contain retinol?

Can the serum replace sunscreen?
